F Michael Hemmer, LS, P.C. was formed as a New York State Professional Corporation in April of 2005. Michael Hemmer has been involved in the practice of land surveying since working on the construction of a new highway in the mountains of the Idaho panhandle in 1972. Michael was licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor in New York and New Jersey in 1987.

The professional corporation was formed after Michael completed the computations for the alignment of the superconducting magnets during the construction of the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) at Brookhaven National Laboratory. The beam went around the 2.5 mile ring on the first try and the successful commissioning of RHIC meant the time was right to sally forth into private practice.

Jason LaMonda is our lead field party chief. Robert Holdorf is our operations manager contributing in field, technical and administrative operations. Joanne Robbins-Landi is the lead drafting technician working closely with project architects, engineers and designers. Heidi Ayala offers bilingual skills and outstanding customer service to our clients.
